The Sadest Part of All

I know what you were thinking when you left me for that guy.
Never mind the emails I can read it in your eye
And why should I feel guilty that I didn't even try
The sadest part of all is I do.

I listen to the breathing of a city late at night.
I hear the neighbors crashing I hear the garbage fight
I think about the nonsense and I almost have it right.
And the sadest part of all is I do

I cherish till I perish said the singer to the club.
If you aprove the credit then he'll vallidate the stub
She'll honor with her presence if all you need is love
And the sadest part of all is I do
